I have a question on the AP Chem 2004 packet. On ? 4 some of the compounds are not working out for me. On the solubility chart they say they are solids, but then it doesnt work out. i looked one up and it broke one of the rules and exceptions i think. So how are we suppose to do them. maybe im just confused…haha I was stuck on 4g 4f and 4d. Also is this going to be graded? =]

In 4 d, it is double replacement. Also remember that when you form carbonic acid, it spontaneously breakds down into carbon dioxide and water. 4f is not one I would expect you to pick as your five, but 4g is on you can do that is double replacement. I think the solubility rules are that all phosphates are insoluble except those of alkali metals and ammonium. We will grade for five correct in this sections just as the instructions state, so you should have five noted that you think you have right as we go over them tomorrow. I will let you ask questions for a bit before we dive in, because I am sure everyone will have some. Hope your break was good and I will see you tomorrow, Miss Montana.
